Another member of the 8th Delta State House of Assembly, Hon. Chukudi Dafe has been suspended for 14 Legislative days.
The motion for the suspension of Chukudi Dafe, who represents Ukwuani Constituency, over alleged gross misconduct, was moved by the Majority Leader of the House and member representing Aniocha North Constituency, Engr. Emeka Nwaobi during Wednesday’s plenary.
The Chief Whip, Hon. Perkins Umukoro, seconded the motion which was unanimously adopted by the House.
The suspension of Hon. Dafe, a member of the ruling Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) in Delta State, comes six months after the House led by Rt Hon Emomotimi Guwor also handed down a 14 legislative days suspension to Hon. Matthew Omonade of the main opposition political party, the All Progressives Congress (APC) for gross misconduct.
