The member representing Isoko South 2 Constituency in the Delta State House of Assembly, Hon Ferguson Onwo has felicitated with Governor Ifeanyi Okowa on his 62nd birthday anniversary being celebrated today 8th July 2021.
Hon Onwo in a statement on behalf of himself, family and constituents, described Dr Okowa as a special breed and gift to many generations.
The lawmaker who is the Chairman, House Committee on Housing, Women Affairs, Community and Social Development, stated that the Governor is being celebrated even beyond Delta State as a result of his good works and positive impact on the lives of many.
“His Excellency Senator (Dr) Ifeanyi Okowa taking to politics, is a blessing to humanity. He is a man with a large heart and a master in the game of politics. His legacy as Governor will outlive many generations. He is a man of many parts, kind-hearted and a true servant of God,” Hon Onwo stated.
The Isoko South 2 Constituency representative stressed further that as the Chairman of the South-South Governors’ forum, Dr Okowa has proven to be a worthy ambassador of Delta State, saying that his leadership style and love for perfection were worthy of emulation.
Hon Onwo expressed happiness over the level of support from Deltans to the Okowa-led administration in the state, and attributed the commitment of the people to the visionary leadership of the Governor, maintaining that Okowa has proven to be a great manager of people and resources.
The lawmaker said at 62, God has been so kind to the Governor and his household, stressing that as a human being, challenges will come, but God has always been there to neutralise the evil plans of the wicked.
Hon Onwo on behalf of his family and constituents congratulated the Governor on his birthday anniversary and prayed for more of God’s grace and blessings upon his life.
He assured Dr Okowa of sustained support of the people of Isoko South 2 to his administration as they look forward to more dividends of democracy in the Constituency.
