The member representing Delta Central Senatorial District in the National Assembly, Senator Ede Dafinone, has felicitated Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, on her 66th birthday, commending what he described as her contributions to public service and humanitarian initiatives.
In a birthday message on Monday, Dafinone extended his felicitations to the First Lady on behalf of his family and the people of Delta Central Senatorial District.
He described Oluremi Tinubu’s journey through public service — from her tenure as First Lady of Lagos State, to her representation of Lagos Central in the Senate, and her current role as First Lady of Nigeria — as a record of service to the country.
According to him, her various public roles have reflected a commitment to faith, compassion and service to humanity.
Dafinone also commended the First Lady’s Renewed Hope Initiative, saying its interventions in areas including education, healthcare, social investment, agriculture and economic empowerment have focused attention on women, youths and vulnerable Nigerians.
“Through the Renewed Hope Initiative, you have consistently demonstrated that leadership is ultimately about service to humanity,” Dafinone said.
He further prayed for God’s continued guidance, good health and strength for the First Lady as she marks the milestone.
“I join millions of Nigerians in praying that Almighty God grants you continued wisdom, sound health, and divine strength,” he said.
