The Chairman of the Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission, DESOPADEC, Olorogun John Obukohwo Nani, has congratulated the Commission’s Executive Director, Finance and Administration, Chief Oghenekome Reginald Okpobor, on the occasion of his birthday.
Nani, in a goodwill message, described Okpobor as a dedicated public servant whose contributions to the growth and effective administration of DESOPADEC have remained valuable to the Commission and the people of Delta State.
The DESOPADEC Chairman commended the celebrant for his diligence, professionalism and commitment to duty, noting that his experience and administrative expertise have continued to contribute to the smooth running of the Commission.
According to Nani, Okpobor’s birthday provides an opportunity to acknowledge not only his personal accomplishments but also his contributions to the collective mandate of DESOPADEC, particularly in the areas of sound financial management, administrative coordination and institutional development.

Nani added: “As you mark another year, I pray that God Almighty will continue to grant you wisdom, strength, good health and renewed grace to discharge your responsibilities with distinction. May the years ahead bring you greater fulfilment and more opportunities to contribute meaningfully to the development of our dear Delta State.”
The DESOPADEC Chairman also expressed appreciation for Okpobor’s partnership with the Board and other members of the management team in advancing the Commission’s mandate of promoting development in oil-producing communities.
He said the celebrant’s birthday should serve as a moment of reflection and renewed commitment to the ideals of service, accountability and development.
