Senator Ede Dafinone, representing Delta Central Senatorial District, has commended the Zamarr Institute for its outstanding commitment and impact in advancing care and awareness for individuals on the autism spectrum.

The commendation came during a recent meeting with a delegation from the institute, led by its Chief Executive Officer, Oluronke Katagum.

The visit highlighted ongoing efforts by the organisation and explored opportunities for collaboration and legislative support.

According to our correspondent, discussions at the meeting centred on the institute’s upcoming fundraising dinner, which aims to expand access to essential services and sustain critical programs tailored to children with special needs.

The initiative reflects Zamarr Institute’s broader mission to bridge gaps in autism care and support across Nigeria.

Senator Dafinone noted that the institute has played a pivotal role in raising awareness about autism, while also delivering specialised care and promoting inclusive opportunities for affected individuals.
