UPU, PGs of Urhobo Kingdoms endorse Atiku for President, Oborevwori for Governor

UPU DID NOT ENDORSE PDP, ATIKU, OKOWA OR SHERIFF

The Nigerian Public, Deltans and mostly Urhobos should disregard any report that the revered Urhobo Progress Union, UPU, the Apex Social Cultural Organization of the Urhobo People World Wide had endorsed PDP, Atiku, Okowa & Sheriff. There was nothing like that, not even near it. This is nothing but a mere political propaganda from the pit of hell.

The Social media report credited to the Facebook page of one Ejiro Ogidigben is meant to portray the name of UPU and the PG in a bad light but they have failed woefully as such stile is nothing but old faction. The visit of Mr Sheriff Oberevwori and PDP to UPU today witnessed both PDP & APC members present in the UPU National exco. In fact, the PG, Chief Ese Gam Owe drew the attention of the visitors to this. I make bold to keep all Urhobos and Deltans inform that the President General does not even know Atiku Abubakar talkless of endorsing him.

In fact, UPU did not make any such endorsement. This fake news should be highly disregarded and taken as “a carry talk”.

It can be recalled that the Deputy Senate President, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege had visited the UPU National Exco under the leadership of Chief Moses Taiga where the UPU prayed for him to succeed in his bid to become the next Governor of Delta State. The president General said that “UPU is proud of the achievement of the DSP in infrastructural development of Urhobo Nation given the number of projects he has attracted from the Federal Government”. The DSP also had earlier visited all Urhobo traditional Rulers at the palace of the Ohworodo of Olomu. In fact, the Orodje of Okpe on that auspicious occasion eulogized the achievement of Omo-Agege with Respect to the reopening of the Osubi airport.

Even in this February 2023, the same DSP also visited the council of the 24 Urhobo kingdoms President Generals led by Chief Notoma where he was prayed for to succeed in his bid to succeed Gov Okowa as the Next Governor of Delta State. Without mincing words, DSP Ovie Omo-Agege is 10 steps ahead of others in consultation, knowledge, achievements, acceptability and above all, he is scientifically accomplished and has the fear of God.
