A graduation ceremony is a momentous occasion that celebrates the culmination of years of hard work, perseverance, and academic achievement.

This year, Anglican Girls Grammar School (AGGS), Ughelli, held its annual graduation ceremony on July 24 at the school’s auditorium, marking a memorable milestone for the graduating class of 2025.

The event commenced with a colourful procession of graduating students proudly dressed in their caps and gowns, setting the tone for a day filled with joy, recognition, and celebration.

Orovworiake Ochuko, SS 3 Best Graduating Art Student

Outstanding students were honoured with awards for excellence across various academic and extracurricular fields, highlighting their dedication and remarkable performance over the years.

Notably, among the scholars supported by the Samuel Adjogbe Foundation (SAF), Orovworiake Ochuko emerged as the Best Art Student of the year 2025.

Similarly, Ebrudu Faustina was named Best Graduating Student in the Junior Secondary School Category—a feat that brought immense pride to the SAF family.

This year, 17 students under the SAF scholarship programme successfully graduated from secondary school. Of these, 10 girls graduated from AGGS, Ughelli, while 7 boys completed their studies at Government College, Ughelli.

Their success stands as a testament to the foundation’s unwavering commitment to empowering indigent students through quality education.

The ceremony also witnessed the enthusiastic presence of the remaining 34 SAF beneficiaries, who turned out in full support, cheering on their graduating peers and sharing in their moment of triumph.

Speaking at the event, Rtn. Clementina Ejabefio, Country Coordinator of SAF, reaffirmed the foundation’s dedication to educational support.

She announced that the foundation is poised to expand its impact, with plans to award more students with a six-year scholarship in the upcoming academic session, beginning in September 2025.
