Former Executive Director of Projects at the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Olorogun Samuel Adjogbe, PhD, FNSE, has extended warm felicitations to the Governor of Delta State, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, on the occasion of his 63rd birth anniversary, describing him as a pragmatic leader whose administration continues to deliver visible dividends of democracy across the state.

In a congratulatory message made available to journalists on Friday, Adjogbe said Governor Oborevwori’s birthday offers Deltans an opportunity to celebrate a leader whose commitment to development, peace and inclusive governance has strengthened public confidence in government.

According to him, the governor’s remarkable journey from grassroots politics to the highest office in the state reflects resilience, dedication, humility and a deep understanding of the needs of the people.

Adjogbe noted that since assuming office in May 2023, Governor Oborevwori has demonstrated purposeful leadership through the implementation of the MORE Agenda, which has continued to translate into tangible improvements in infrastructure, social services, economic empowerment and security across Delta State.

He commended the governor for sustaining the pace of development in both urban and rural communities, stressing that numerous road projects, public facilities and people-centred initiatives have positively impacted the lives of citizens.

“Governor Sheriff Oborevwori has shown that effective leadership is measured by service, performance and the ability to improve the well-being of the people.

“His administration has continued to inspire hope through strategic investments in infrastructure, human capital development, youth empowerment and economic growth. Deltans can clearly see the results of governance across the state,” Adjogbe stated.

The former NDDC Executive Director further praised the governor’s inclusive leadership style, saying his willingness to engage stakeholders and promote unity among the diverse ethnic nationalities in the state has enhanced peace and social cohesion.

He also lauded Governor Oborevwori’s prudent management of resources and commitment to transparency, noting that the administration’s developmental strides have positioned Delta among the leading states in the federation.

Adjogbe described the governor as a leader who remains accessible to the people despite the demands of office, adding that his responsiveness to public concerns has earned him admiration across political and social divides.
