In furtherance of her effort in human capital development, the Samuel Adjogbe Foundation has again granted scholarships to some indigent students.
The latest beneficiaries are ten in number with selection cutting across Ughelli North, Ughelli South, and Udu Local Government Areas of Delta State.
This brings to a total of fifty secondary students with three undergraduates, who have been awarded scholarships by the Foundation.
According to the President of the Foundation, Olorogun Samuel Adjogbe, PhD, FNSE, “Education is a passport to a better future, for tomorrow belongs to those who prepare for it today”.
The scholarship award is expected to train each student from JSS 1 to SSS 3 and covers both tuition and boarding fees.
The ecstatic lucky students were overwhelmed as they checked into their various hostels while their overjoyed parents expressed a burst of happiness and gratitude to God for the opportunity given to their children.
According to the Foundation Country Coordinator, Rtn. Clementina Ejabefio, PHF+, the ten beneficiary students are gender balanced as they are five girls and five boys.
The students are currently in JSS 1 at the Anglican Girls Grammar School, Ughelli, Bishop Agori-Iwe Memorial Anglican Boys Grammar School, Ughelli, and the prestigious Government College, Ughelli.
