The Chairman of the Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission (DESOPADEC), Olorogun John Obukohwo Nani, has felicitated with the Chief Adviser to the Delta State Governor, Senator Chief (Dr.) Ighoyota Amori, on the occasion of his 74th birthday, describing him as one of the principal architects of Delta State’s political stability and democratic growth.
In a goodwill message on Saturday, Nani said Amori’s life of service, unwavering commitment to people and unmatched accessibility have made him one of the most respected political figures in Delta State.
The DESOPADEC Chairman noted that for more than two decades, Amori has remained a dependable voice in the state’s political development, mentoring leaders, resolving differences, and helping to build institutions that have strengthened democratic governance since the return to civil rule in 1999.
According to Nani, the celebrant’s influence extends far beyond political offices he has occupied, stressing that countless individuals across Delta State and beyond have benefited from his mentorship, empowerment and selfless leadership.
