Member representing Warri South Constituency I in the Delta State House of Assembly, Dr. Augustine Uroye, has congratulated the Governor of Delta State, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, on his third anniversary in office, praising the governor for what he described as diligent, purposeful and steady implementation of the MORE Agenda across the state.

Uroye, who recently emerged as the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for re-election ahead of the 2027 general elections, said Governor Oborevwori had demonstrated commitment to inclusive governance and sustainable development through the execution of key infrastructure and people-oriented projects in different parts of Delta State.

In a goodwill message made available to journalists on Friday, the lawmaker commended the governor for sustaining the tempo of development initiated under his administration, noting that the visible transformation in critical sectors had continued to earn the confidence and support of Deltans.

He particularly applauded the administration’s investment in road infrastructure, urban renewal, healthcare, education and other legacy projects, describing the governor’s approach to governance as pragmatic and impactful.

“Governor Sheriff Oborevwori has, within three years, shown uncommon dedication to the growth and advancement of Delta State through the practical implementation of the MORE Agenda. His administration has remained focused, responsive and development-driven,” Uroye stated.

According to him, the governor’s achievements across the state were clear evidence of a leadership style anchored on continuity, stability and service to the people.

“The execution of legacy projects across various communities in Delta State speaks volumes about the governor’s vision and commitment to leaving lasting footprints in governance. Deltans can see and feel the impact of government in their daily lives,” he added.

Dr. Uroye also appreciated the people of Warri South Constituency I and other Deltans for their continued support for the Oborevwori administration, saying such cooperation had contributed significantly to the successes recorded so far.

He urged constituents and residents of the state to sustain their support for the governor in order to enable the administration consolidate on ongoing developmental strides.

“I sincerely appreciate the immense support and confidence our people have continued to show Governor Oborevwori and his administration. That support has remained a strong pillar for the progress we are witnessing today.

“I appeal to Deltans, especially my constituents in Warri South Constituency I, to continue standing with the governor as he advances the MORE Agenda for the overall benefit of our state and future generations,” the lawmaker said.

Uroye further prayed for wisdom, strength and good health for Governor Oborevwori as he continues to pilot the affairs of Delta State.

Governor Oborevwori was sworn into office on May 29, 2023, succeeding Senator Ifeanyi Okowa, and has since continued to drive his administration’s MORE Agenda, an acronym for Meaningful Development, Opportunities for All, Realistic Reforms and Enhanced Peace and Security.
