Olorogun Samuel Adjogbe, PhD, FNSE, is one of the shining examples of modern Urhobo leadership, a man who has chosen to use his influence, education, and resources to uplift his people. Through his foundation, he has touched countless lives, transforming communities and inspiring hope across Urhoboland and even beyond.

A seasoned engineer and former Executive Director of Projects at the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Olorogun Adjogbe understands the importance of development that truly reaches the grassroots. His foundation has become a beacon of empowerment, providing scholarships to indigent students, supporting widows and small business owners, and improving access to education and healthcare in rural communities.

Through various youth development and skills acquisition programs, he has created pathways for young Urhobo men and women to learn trades, acquire professional certifications, and start sustainable businesses. These initiatives not only reduce unemployment but also build a generation of confident, productive citizens capable of contributing to the region’s growth.

Olorogun Adjogbe’s approach to philanthropy goes beyond handouts. He believes in empowerment with purpose, equipping people with the tools and knowledge to stand on their own. His passion for education is evident in his consistent support for students at all levels, from primary school through university, ensuring that financial constraints do not prematurely end dreams.

In community development, his foundation in conjunction with the Rotary Club of Evwreni, has sponsored infrastructural projects such as boreholes and health outreach programmes that directly improve living conditions in Urhobo towns and villages. He combines technical expertise with compassion, ensuring that every intervention brings real, measurable impact.

Through his foundation, Olorogun Samuel Adjogbe, PhD, FNSE, has become a bridge between privilege and purpose, a leader who sees service not as an obligation but as a calling. His work stands as a reminder that when successful sons and daughters of Urhobo give back selflessly, the entire nation rises.
