Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Emomotimi Dennis Guwor has expressed satisfaction with the quality of lectures at the two-day retreat for members of the 8th Assembly.

Speaking on the second day of the programme being held at Ikot-Akpene, Akwa-Ibom State, Rt Hon Guwor said the capacity building workshop has been very interesting and eventful.

According to him, every member, including the twenty first-timers and nine returning ones would return to the state with new or added knowledge on the nitty-gritty of lawmaking.

Rt Hon Guwor said the 8th Delta Assembly promises to be a vibrant House, saying that much is expected since the legislature is the fulcrum of democratic governance.

He assured that his leadership will be all inclusive and open to ideas that would further promote good governance in the state as Sheriff Oborevwori’s administration was set to deliver more dividends of democracy in the state.
