Information just reaching NewsNet Nigeria says fire has gutted a branch of Assemblies of God Church in New Layout Ekpan, Uvwie Local Government Area of Delta State.
Our correspondent reports that the fire broke out from the second floor of the church storey building around 5pm on Sunday.
Men of the fire service of NNPCL and the Delta State government who responded to distress calls on the inferno it was gathered are still battling to put it.
The storey building under fire houses the Church and the pastor’s residence.
It is not yet clear whether there are casualties.
