Senator Ede Dafinone of Delta Central Senatorial District has extended warm birthday felicitations to President Bola Tinubu on the occasion of his 74th birthday, describing his leadership as a source of national inspiration and renewed hope.
In a statement on Sunday, the lawmaker said the President’s new age marks not just the passage of time but a lifetime of service, sacrifice, and dedication to Nigeria’s progress.
“This milestone is not only a celebration of age but of a lifetime devoted to service, sacrifice, and the unwavering pursuit of a better Nigeria. Your leadership continues to inspire confidence and hope across the nation,” Dafinone said.
Dafinone commended the President’s economic reforms, describing them as bold and necessary steps that have helped stabilise the nation’s economy and restore credibility to Nigeria’s foreign exchange regime.
“Your bold and decisive economic policies have stabilised our economy and restored credibility to Nigeria’s foreign exchange regime.
“While the path of reform is never easy, your courage in taking necessary decisions has repositioned our nation for sustainable growth and improved investor confidence,” he stated.
The senator also praised Tinubu’s leadership within the All Progressives Congress (APC), highlighting the successful conduct of the party’s recent national convention at Eagle Square in Abuja as a demonstration of unity and strategic direction under his watch.
“The successful hosting of the APC National Convention is a clear testament to your ability to unify, strengthen, and provide strategic direction for the party,” Dafinone added.
He further lauded the President’s resilience, political foresight, and commitment to progressive governance, noting that his leadership remains a guiding example across Africa.
“At a time when strong and visionary leadership is most needed, you have demonstrated the capacity and resolve to steer Nigeria toward stability and renewed greatness,” he said.
