Dafinone Urges Sustained Support for Tinubu, Oborevwori as Medical Outreach Draws Rousing Welcome in Abraka

Senator representing Delta Central Senatorial District, Ede Dafinone, has called on constituents to sustain their support for Bola Tinubu and Sheriff Oborevwori, as his free medical outreach team stormed Abraka, Ethiope East Local Government Area, to a rousing welcome by residents.

The university community erupted in jubilation as hundreds of people thronged the Ejeta Primary Health Care Centre venue of the outreach, on the 27th March, 2026, chanting and cheering the arrival of the medical team. The atmosphere reflected both excitement and relief among residents who turned out to benefit from the intervention.

Dafinone, who spoke through his aides, Chief Jemu Salubi and Mr. Henry Esiri, said the outreach was part of ongoing efforts to deliver quality healthcare services to constituents, particularly those unable to afford medical treatment.

He used the opportunity to urge the people of Delta Central to continue backing the administration of President Tinubu and Governor Oborevwori, stressing that sustained support and collaboration among leaders at federal and state levels would translate into meaningful development for the region.

According to his aides, the outreach—already implemented across four local government areas in the senatorial district—was designed to close the healthcare access gap caused by rising costs and limited infrastructure.

At the centre, beneficiaries were attended to by a team of medical professionals who provided consultations, treated various ailments and distributed free drugs and reading glasses. Patients with critical conditions were referred to higher medical facilities for further care.
They noted that the initiative aligns with the senator’s broader commitment to improving the welfare of his constituents, describing healthcare as a fundamental component of his legislative focus.

The aides also highlighted Dafinone’s interventions in the health sector, including the renovation and equipping of medical facilities, as well as his contributions to education, youth empowerment and employment within Delta Central.

Residents who spoke during the exercise expressed gratitude for the outreach, describing it as timely and impactful. Many said the programme had eased the burden of accessing medical care amid prevailing economic challenges.

Some beneficiaries also pledged their continued support for the senator, affirming confidence in his leadership and expressing optimism that more dividends of democracy would follow.
