Nani to Oborevwori at 63: Your Leadership Has Brought Hope, Stability, Progress to Delta

The Chairman of the Governing Board of the Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission (DESOPADEC), Olorogun John Obukowho Nani, has congratulated Governor Sheriff Oborevwori on the occasion of his 63rd birth anniversary, describing him as a leader whose vision, humility and commitment to service have accelerated development across Delta State.

In a goodwill message on Friday, Nani said the governor’s birthday presents an opportunity for Deltans to celebrate a public servant who has remained steadfast in his dedication to the state’s growth, peace, and prosperity.

According to him, Governor Oborevwori’s journey from grassroots politics to the leadership of Delta State reflects a remarkable story of perseverance, loyalty, hard work, and a deep understanding of the people’s needs.

“On behalf of my family, the Governing Board, Management and Staff of DESOPADEC, I warmly congratulate His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Sheriff F.O. Oborevwori, on the joyous occasion of his 63rd birthday.

“Your Excellency’s leadership has continued to inspire confidence among Deltans. Through your MORE Agenda, communities across the state are witnessing meaningful development, expanded opportunities, realistic reforms and enhanced peace and security.

“Your administration has demonstrated that governance is most impactful when it is people-oriented, inclusive and driven by genuine concern for the welfare of citizens,” Nani stated.

The DESOPADEC Board Chairman noted that under Governor Oborevwori’s leadership, Delta State has recorded significant progress in infrastructure development, human capital investment, youth empowerment, healthcare delivery and economic growth.

He further commended the governor’s commitment to fostering unity among the diverse ethnic nationalities in the state, saying his consultative leadership style has strengthened harmony and promoted a sense of collective purpose among Deltans.

Nani also praised the governor’s prudent management of public resources, stressing that his administration has continued to execute strategic projects while maintaining fiscal responsibility and accountability.

“One of the distinguishing qualities of Governor Oborevwori is his accessibility and willingness to listen. He remains connected to the people and responsive to their aspirations, which has endeared him to many across political, social and cultural divides.

“As he marks this important milestone, we celebrate not only his birthday but also the positive impact his leadership has made on countless lives and communities throughout Delta State,” he added.

While praying for God’s continued guidance, wisdom and strength upon the governor, Nani wished him many more years of good health, fulfilment, and greater accomplishments in the service of Delta State and Nigeria.

He expressed confidence that Governor Oborevwori would continue to build on the achievements recorded so far and further advance the state’s development agenda for the benefit of present and future generations.
