2027: Senator Nwoko’s return divine orchestration, says Delta cleric, Ogochukwu White

The chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Delta North Senatorial District, Ogbueishi Adizue Eluaka (JP), has formally dissolved the controversial “Forum of Delta North APC LGA Chairmen” and the “Forum of APC Ward Chairmen” in the senatorial district.

This decisive move comes in response to a recent unauthorized publication by the so-called forum, which attempted to discredit the endorsement of Senator Ned Munir Nwoko for a second term.

In a strongly worded statement released on Wednesday, Eluaka described the group as an “unauthorized and unconstitutional body,” stressing that its actions do not reflect the collective will or structure of the APC in Delta North.

He emphasized that the party would no longer recognize any collective entities not expressly sanctioned by its constitution.

“We will not sit to watch a few disgruntled, sponsored individuals under the guise of a forum that is unknown to our constitution, cause disunity and disaffection in our party,” Eluaka declared. “The APC is a window of opportunity for growth, and these actions are clearly self-serving.”

Eluaka’s announcement followed a well-attended APC stakeholders’ meeting held on Saturday, June 14, 2025, at Senator Nwoko’s country home in Idumuje-Ugboko.

At the meeting, a vote of confidence was unanimously passed on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu (GCFR), Delta State Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, and Senator Nwoko by party leaders and members.

To restore discipline and cohesion within the ranks, Eluaka stated that henceforth, all party dealings will be conducted directly with LGA and ward chairmen on an individual basis.

He warned that any meetings convened by the now-dissolved forums or any unsanctioned groups would be deemed illegal and subject to disciplinary action.

In a related development, the APC chapter in Aniocha South has also distanced itself from the anti-Nwoko statement attributed to its local chairman, Pastor Norbert Akachukwu Sochukwudinma.

In a statement signed by the party’s Publicity Secretary, Prince PC Izediunor, the chapter clarified that the publication did not reflect the collective decision of the Aniocha South leadership.

“The statement was made without due consultation with the leaders and executives of APC Aniocha South,” the release said. “It is not within our jurisdiction or duty, as the local executive body, to determine or pronounce on leadership positions at the Delta North senatorial level.”

The Aniocha South APC leadership urged members across the senatorial district to remain united, focused, and committed to party growth and internal harmony.

Reaffirming its dedication to due process and inclusiveness, the chapter pledged to continue working toward a stronger party structure that serves the interests of the people.

“Let us remain focused on strengthening our party and working together for the benefit of our people,” the statement noted.
