President Bola Tinubu on Tuesday received a high-powered delegation of the All Progressives Congress, APC, from Delta State.

The Minister of Aviation, Festus Keyamo led the highly esteemed Delta APC leaders comprising the Delta State APC Party Chairman, Elder Omeni Sobotie; Senator Ede Dafinone (Delta Central) and Senator Joel-Onowakpo Thomas (Delta South); Hon. Francis Waive (representing Ughelli North, Ughelli South, and Udu Federal Constituency); and former National Women Leader and Executive Director of NEXIM Bank, Hon. Stella Okotete.

The primary focus of the meeting was to brief President Tinubu on the current state of the APC in Delta State.

The delegation presented a detailed overview of the party’s activities and highlighted the ongoing efforts to foster internal democracy within the party at the grassroots level.

These efforts, they emphasized, are key to ensuring the continued growth and influence of the APC in the state.

During the meeting, the delegation expressed their commitment to enhancing unity within the party and addressing challenges that could impede its progress in Delta State.

They also discussed the importance of upholding party principles and promoting inclusive leadership as essential factors for success in the upcoming electoral cycles.

In response, President Tinubu assured the delegation of his unwavering support for the party’s development in Delta State.

The meeting concluded on a positive note, with the delegation expressing their gratitude to President Tinubu for his time and continued support.
