The immediate past Commissioner for Secondary Education in Delta State, Chief Rose Ezewu, has assumed duty as the new Commissioner for Primary Education.

She takes over from Dr Kingsley Ashibogwu, who is the State Commissioner for Secondary Education.

In a brief chat with newsmen, Ezewu described her deployment as an opportunity to deploy her quota in driving the primary education in the state to greater heights.

Ezewu also commended the State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori for finding her worthy to serve as the new Commissioner for Primary Education having served as the Commissioner for Secondary Education.

She promised to put in her best to elevate primary education in Delta State to an enviable height and called for support from all stakeholders in the primary education sector.
