Okowa, Nwoko, others to grace unveiling of “Ika First Achievers and Events Book” on Easter Monday

The Delta State Governor, Dr Ifeanyi Okowa, would be Special Guest of Honour at the unveiling of a book titled “Ika First Achievers and Events Book”, aka “Ika Wonder Book of All Time”, on Monday, April 5, 2021.

Renowned Delta politician and billionaire, Hon (Prince) Ned Nwoko is expected to deliver a keynote address at the launch of the book which day is Easter Monday.

A statement by the organisers says the launch of the book, Co-authored by Solomon Omojie, will hold at Palm Event Center, 7 Ogala street, off Owa – Ekei road, Boji – Boji Owa, at 1pm for Red Carpet and 2pm for the launch.

The event to be chaired by Professor Leo Obika has all Ika traditional rulers as Royal Fathers of the Day, with Chief (Dr) Felix Okonti Isimekpeni as the Chief Launcher, while the Rector, Delta State Polytechnic, Ogwashi – Uku, Professor Stella Chiemeke, will review the book.

Ika Etumuse, who is the ” Egbebeli – Ugoebeli ” 1 of Igbodo kingdom, in Ika North East Local Government Area, has two other literally works to his credit: “The History of Igbodo and The Journey of Life”.

According to the US-based philanthropist, all notable sons and daughters of Ika Nation are expected at the historic event, which will also feature various forms of entertainments and displays of the rich Ika cultural heritage.

Chief Etumuse explained that Ika First Achievers and Events is a compendium of Ika first in various fields of human endeavours.
