The member representing Udu State Constituency in the Delta State House Assembly, Hon Peter Okagbare Uviejitobor, has felicitated with Rt Hon Sheriff Francis Oborevwori as he assumes office as Governor of Delta State.

Uviejitobor who spoke immediately after the swearing-in ceremony in Asaba on Monday, rejoiced with Oborevwori on the historic event, stressing that it was God that made it possible for the former Speaker of the State Assembly to be so transformed to his present position in the affairs of man.

The lawmaker said Oborevwori has the capability to deliver on electioneering promises and pledged his unalloyed support to the Governor as he pursues his M.O.R.E. agenda.

“I, on behalf of my family, teaming supporters and the good people of Udu state constituency, felicitate with His Excellency, Rt Hon Sheriff Francis Oborevwori, as he mounts the leadership of Delta State as Governor. We rejoice with him on this historic event and prayed God to grant him all the enablement to advance our dear Delta State to the next level of development as captured in his M.O.R.E. agenda,” Uviejitobor stated.

Continuing he said, “Having worked very closely with him as worthy colleagues in the sixth and seventh Assembly, I can confidently attest to his capacity to deliver on promises. We pledged our support at all times and pray God to grant him and his Deputy, Sir Monday Onyeme the strength, wisdom and good health to face the task ahead”

Hon Uviejitobor expressed optimism that the new Governor, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori will build on the legacies of the immediate past Governor of the state, Dr Ifeanyi Okowa.
