Senior Special Assistant to Delta State Governor on Community Development, Prince Julius Obelikpeyah, has declared that the All Progressives Congress (APC) will deliver President Bola Tinubu and Delta State Governor Sheriff Oborevwori to victory in the 2027 general elections through intensified grassroots mobilisation and voter registration.
Obelikpeyah made the declaration while hosting members of the APC from Units 17 and 18 in Okere Ward, Warri South Local Government Area, under the auspices of the Team Revolution Campaign Group for Ukodo @ Asiwaju 2027, on Thursday, July 16, 2026.
In his keynote address, the renowned entertainment promoter-turned-politician and facilitator of the campaign group said the gathering was convened to strengthen the party’s grassroots structure and galvanise support for President Tinubu and Governor Oborevwori ahead of the next general elections.
According to him, the initiative was inspired by what he described as the impressive developmental strides recorded by the Oborevwori administration in Okere Ward and across Delta State.
Obelikpeyah stressed that the party’s success in 2027 would depend largely on expanding its support base through the ongoing Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) exercise.
He urged party members to embark on aggressive mobilisation of eligible voters to register and obtain their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs), noting that increased voter registration would translate into greater electoral strength for the APC in Units 17 and 18 and the wider Okere Ward.
“If we are determined to deliver President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Sheriff Oborevwori in 2027, we must begin now by ensuring that every eligible supporter registers to vote. Grassroots mobilisation remains the foundation of electoral victory,” he said.
The event attracted several APC leaders and stakeholders, including the Warri Urhobo National Leader, Prof. Israel N. Abido (JP); former Chairman of Warri South Local Government Council, Chief Peter Agiri; the Councillor representing Okere Ward in the Warri South Legislative Arm, Hon. Karo Oborume; and other party faithful.
The meeting also featured discussions on strengthening the APC’s presence at the ward level and sustaining grassroots engagement as preparations for the 2027 general elections gradually gather momentum.
