Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, Tuesday, swore in twenty-six new commissioners to work with him to achieve his M.O.R.E Agenda.
Speaking at the inauguration held at the Events Centre Asaba, Governor Oborevwori called on them to ensure fairness, equity and justice to guide their actions for effective service delivery.
He also charged the new Commissioners to discharge their responsibilities with dedication and diligence in the people’s overall interest.
Hours after the inauguration, the Governor assigned the commissioners to their respective portfolios leaving out two vital portfolios, Information and Attorney-General and Justice.
No reason was however given in the release containing the assigned portfolios signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Dr. Kingsley Emu.
Below are the names of the 26 newly sworn-in Commissioners and their portfolios:

6. Engr. Michael Ifeanyi Anoka – Urban Renewal
7. Hon. (Evang) Princess Pat. A. Ajudua – Women Affairs, Community & Social Development
8. Chief Darlington Ijeh – Culture and Tourism
9. Chief Fidelis OkenmorTilije – Finance
10. Barr. Funyei Manager – Special Projects
11. Hon. Godknows Angele – Housing
12. Dr. Joseph Onojaeme Ogheneogaga – Health
13. Chief Emamusi Obiodeh – Lands, Survey & Development

One of the newly sworn-in commissioners, Miss Orode Uduaghan, daughter of former Governor Emmanuel Uduaghan, had while responding on behalf of others during the swearing-in ceremony thanked Governor Oborevwori for finding them worthy to serve and pledged the unalloyed loyalty and commitment of the Commissioners in the execution of his administration’s M.O.R.E agenda.
