Nigerian actress and film producer Regina Daniels-Nwoko has been honoured with The Sun Newspaper’s Nollywood Personality of the Year award.

Regina Daniels on Saturday, March 1, 2025, was among 36 outstanding Nigerians honoured by The Sun Publishing Limited, publishers of The Sun Newspaper.

The event, which was the 22nd edition of the coveted awards of the prestigious national media outfit, was held at the Expo Convention Centre, Eko Hotels and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos.

The National Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr. Adbullahi Ganduje, and Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Amb. Bianca Ojukwu co-chaired the delightful ceremony.

Taking to his Instagram page, Regina Daniels’s husband, Senator Ned Nwoko, expressed profound joy over the landmark achievement of his wife.

Senator Nwoko congratulated her for standing out based on her “hard work and the impact”, she has made in Nollywood.
