Ondo State Police Command has arrested one Sunday Mima for allegedly raping to death an 80-year-old woman, Aderibigbe Felicia.
The spokesperson for the Command, Funmilayo Odunlami Omisanya said the was reportedly arrested by some youths in the community after the mobile phone of the deceased was found in his pocket.
The deceased was said to have been raped inside her farm in Costain area in Ore, Odigbo Local Government Area of Ondo State.
Sources say the deceased was reported missing in the community since last Wednesday when it was discovered that she did not return home.
It was gathered that several cases of rape had been reported in the community to the extent that women could no longer go to the farm alone.
