Residents of a compound in Obahor Street, Warri, Delta State woke up with shock and disbelief to know that their cotenant simply identified as Daniel laid stone dead in his apartment on Wednesday, September 14, 2022.
Though there was no suicide note to confirm that he took his life but it was alleged by his cotenants that Daniel a housing estate agent drank a popular poisonous insecticide called Sniper that led to his demise.
It was also gathered that Daniel’s heart rob of over twelve years of relationship parted ways with him four months ago, a decision which did not go down well with Daniel.
To worsen the issue for the frustrated young man, his fiancee was alleged to have distributed invitation cards of her forthcoming marriage ceremonies with another man to cotenants of Daniel and residents of the street.
Some residents were seen discussing the incident when journalists arrived in the area the following day Thursday, September 15, 2022.
When contacted for confirmation, the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) Delta State Police Command, DSP Bright Edafe said that the police were unaware of the bizarre incident.
