The Managing Director of Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited, High Chief (Engr.) Kestin Ebimorbowei Pondi, has unveiled the Tantita Delta Schools Quiz Competition, a state-wide academic initiative designed to inspire excellence and healthy competition among secondary school students in Delta State.
A total of 90 secondary schools will take part in the competition, with 30 schools drawn from each of the state’s three senatorial districts.
The four-month-long programme is being coordinated by Mr. Obes Isonguyo.
Speaking at the unveiling, Chief Pondi said the project aligns with Tantita’s vision of investing in education as a tool for youth empowerment and social development.
He explained that the competition is not only aimed at rewarding academic brilliance but also designed as an educational entertainment programme to engage students and stimulate public interest in learning.
He further emphasized that Tantita Security is committed to contributing beyond its core mandate of protecting national assets, by supporting initiatives that shape the intellectual and moral foundation of young Nigerians.
The competition is expected to kick off soon, with schools across the state gearing up for what promises to be one of Delta’s most exciting academic events of the year.
Stakeholders across Delta State have commended Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited for its growing commitment to community development beyond its core security operations.
Some observers have equally applauded Tantita Security for setting a benchmark in corporate social responsibility.
They emphasized that the company’s intervention in education, youth development, and community welfare continues to strengthen its reputation as a socially responsible corporate citizen.
