In a bold move to strengthen party unity and galvanize support for Governor Sheriff Oborevwori’s development strides, the chairman of Ughelli North Local Government Council, Olorogun Jaro Movudu Egbo, on Thursday convened a high-level strategic meeting of the leadership of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in the council area.

Discussions focused on reinforcing the party’s internal cohesion and aligning local governance with the governor’s M.O.R.E Agenda—a blueprint driving infrastructural, social, and economic transformation across Delta State.

Egbo, a seasoned legal practitioner, hailed the visible achievements of the Oborevwori administration and called on party leaders to intensify grassroots mobilization ahead of the 2027 elections. “The M.O.R.E Agenda is not just a promise—it’s a proven pathway to progress. Our collective unity is key to sustaining these gains,” he affirmed.
