COVID-19 Second Wave: Nigeria records 27 deaths in one day

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) says a total of 1,114 new confirmed cases and 27 deaths from COVID-19 were recorded in the country on Friday.

The NCDC in its daily report on COVID-19 in Nigeria posted on its official Twitter account said till date, 128,674 cases have been confirmed, 102,780 cases discharged and 1,577 deaths recorded in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
