Godday Eweiye’s daughter, Violet weds Kolawale with spectacular grandeur

It was a celebration of love and a gathering of socialites, captains of industry, affluent in society, chiefs, entertainment personalities and opinion leaders when Mr and Mrs Godday Enaholo Eweiye gave their daughter, Violet Eweiye to Kolawale Adebowale in marriage on Sunday, December 17, 2023.

The traditional bride price ceremony was held at the home of the Eweiyes in Army Estate, Sapele Road, Effurun Delta State, Nigeria; and saw elders and chiefs from Irrua, Edo State; where Mr. Eweiye hails from, in full representation. Cultural dance troupes reminiscent of Edo culture and other musical groups performed at the occasion.

The exclusive Brownhill Coliseum, Ogunu, Warri, Delta State reception was regaled with a sumptuous feast and spectacular entertainment.

The entertainment, organization, and atmosphere, were in a class of their own.

Notable personalities that graced the occasion include: Mr. & Mrs. Paul Okene, MD, MAGUF Nig. Limited; Chief (Sir) & Lady Sylvester Udi; Mr Fidet Okhiria (MD, Nigeria Railway Corporation); Chief (Barr.) Anthony Duku (Legal Adviser to Delta State Government) and Barr. & Mrs. Godspower Otirikpe.

Also at the ceremony were Chief Dame R. R. Oghene; Mrs Patience Ide – Mother in Israel (wife of the Anglican Bishop of Warri).

Other ‘Men of God’ at the occasion include; Ven & Mrs. J. O. Okekporo (JP) and Ven Hope Imoroa.
