Former Oyo State Governor and a candidate of ADP in the 2019 Governorship election in the state, Alao Akala, has died at the age of 71.
NewsNet Nigeria gathered that Akala, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) died in the early hours of today Wednesday.
The Ogbomoso-born politician ruled Oyo State between 2007 and 2011.
He was on June 3, 1950.
