Immediate past Deputy Governor of Delta State, Deacon Kingsley Burutu Otuaro conveyed his deepest condolences on the passage of the Asagba of Asaba, Obi Prof. Joseph Chike Edozien, CFR.

Otuaro in a statement remarked that the loss of the revered monarch is very profound and impacting not just the Asaba community but the nation as a whole.

While reflecting on his encounters with Prof. Edozien as a serving Deputy Governor, Otuaro described those times as some of the most memorable and valuable moments of his tenure.

“From my period in office as the Deputy Governor of Delta State, my engagements with him were numerous, and I can say with ease that those interactions were among the highlights of my time in that role.

“I extend my heartfelt condolences to the royal family and the people of Asaba during this sorrowful time. My prayers go out to the Almighty God to grant them the strength to cope with this great loss.
