A leading aspirant for the Okpe/Sapele/Uvwie Federal Constituency seat ahead of the 2027 general elections, Hon. Efe Ofobruku, has extended heartfelt condolences to the family of Delta State All Progressives Congress (APC) Chairman, Chief Solomon Arenyeka, over the passing of their matriarch, Mrs. Felicia Oritselumewor Arenyeka.
In a condolence message made available to journalists, Hon. Ofobruku described the death of the respected nonagenarian as a painful loss to the Arenyeka family, the APC family in Delta State, and the larger society that benefitted from her exemplary life.
He said, “Mama Felicia Arenyeka lived a life that speaks loudly of honour, sacrifice, discipline and compassion. Her passing is not only a loss to her family, but to everyone who drew strength and wisdom from her presence.”
Hon. Ofobruku noted that the late Mrs. Arenyeka, who passed on April 24, 2026, at the age of 91, lived a remarkable life marked by dignity, resilience, wisdom, compassion, and deep commitment to family values.
According to him, “Women of her generation built homes, shaped values and nurtured communities. Mama belonged to that rare class of mothers whose legacy will continue to shine for years to come.”
The federal constituency hopeful commiserated with Chief Solomon Arenyeka, Barrister Victor Arenyeka, Director of Legal Services at the Niger Delta Development Commission, and the entire Arenyeka family during the difficult moment.
He urged them to take solace in the fulfilled life their mother lived and the positive impact she made on all who came in contact with her.
Hon. Ofobruku added, “Though death has taken her physical presence, the seeds of love, unity and service she planted remain alive in her children and all those she touched.”
He prayed for the peaceful repose of her soul and asked God to grant the family the strength and comfort needed to bear the irreparable loss.
