The Delta State Government is reported to have rescheduled the presentation of Staff of Office to the new crowned king of Idjerhe Kingdom in Ethiope West Local Government Area, His Royal Majesty, King Obukowho Monday Whiskey, Udurhie 1 to Monday, October 26, 2020.

The presentation of Staff of Office by the government to the new king was earlier slated for Friday October 23, but was abruptly postponed due to the violence that later followed the #EndSARS protest and the subsequent imposition of a 48-hour curfew in the state.

NIGER DELTA TODAY (NDT) Online reports that sources in the state government and Idjerhe traditional chiefs confirmed the new date on Saturday.
