The Ovie of the Ughelli Kingdom in Delta State, His Majesty, Wilson Ojakovo Oghoghovwe Oharisi III, says he has no hand in the infiltration of parts of his domain by herdsmen.
The traditional ruler was reacting to rumours that he sold parcels of land to herdsmen.
Oharisi III explained that such rumours were the handiwork of mischief-makers.
He advised members of the public especially residents of Ughelli Kingdom to disregard the unfounded allegation.
It would be recalled that herdsmen took over some communities in Ughelli Kingdom including Uwheru, parts of Evwreni and Adagaragba inflicting pain on farmers and destroying their farmlands.
