Delta lawmaker, Uroye celebrates Chief Ejovi at 70, applauds his philanthropy

Hon. Augustine Uroye, Member representing Warri South Constituency 1 in the Delta State House of Assembly, has applauded Chief Johnbull Ejovi, the Udu Ra’ Agbon of Agbon Kingdom, for his unwavering commitment to the welfare and progress of his people.

Chief Ejovi, an illustrious son of Orhoakpor and a renowned philanthropist, celebrated his Platinum Jubilee with a thanksgiving service to God on September 18, 2025, and a grand celebration on September 20, 2025, at Wellington Hotel, Effurun, Delta State.

In his goodwill message, Hon. Uroye—who also serves as Chairman, House Committee on DESOPADEC—described Chief Ejovi’s contributions to the development of Agbon Kingdom and Delta State as exemplary and worthy of emulation.

“Chief Ejovi has distinguished himself as a philanthropist, community leader, and bridge-builder. His life of service has inspired countless people.

“Your kindness, generosity, and impact on Agbon Kingdom and Delta State are remarkable,” Uroye stated.

He continued: “Chief, your life of philanthropy, humility, and service to the people of Orhoakpor, Ethiope East, and beyond remains a shining example.

“At 70, you stand tall as a blessing to your community, a father figure to many, and a man whose legacy of kindness will endure for generations. I celebrate you today and pray that God grants you many more fruitful years in good health and joy.”
