The Chief Adviser to the Governor of Delta State, Senator (Chief) Ighoyota Amori, Ph.D, has congratulated Governor Sheriff Oborevwori and all Deltans on the 34th anniversary of the creation of Delta State, calling on citizens to remain steadfast, supportive of government policies, and committed to building a state that stands as a model of peace, progress, and sustainable development in Nigeria.

In his goodwill message, Amori expressed gratitude for the journey so far and the resilience of the people.

“I, Senator Ighoyota Amori, on behalf of my family and political associates, heartily felicitate with His Excellency, the Governor of Delta State, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, the Deputy Governor, members of the State Executive Council, the Legislature, the Judiciary, and indeed all Deltans, both at home and in the diaspora.

“Thirty-four years ago, Delta State was birthed with great expectations. Today, we look back with gratitude for how far we have come as a people, united in diversity, resilient in the face of challenges, and progressive in our pursuit of peace, development, and prosperity.”

Amori further urged Deltans to uphold the values of unity, hard work, and inclusiveness, which he described as the pillars of collective growth.

He also expressed confidence in the leadership of Governor Oborevwori, stressing that with the MORE Agenda as a guiding framework, Delta State is well-positioned for greater achievements.
