Former Special Assistant on Youth and Community Development to the Delta State Government, Comrade Darah Peter Sane, has congratulated Rtn. Fidelis Adjogbe, PhD, on his emergence as Delta State Chairman of the Peoples’ Movement for Tinubu (PMT), expressing confidence in his ability to strengthen grassroots mobilisation ahead of the next general election.
Darah, who is the Deputy Youth Leader of the Pan Niger Delta Forum (PANDEF), Delta State Chapter, described Adjogbe’s appointment as a recognition of his political experience, grassroots connections and commitment to community development.
In a congratulatory message, he said Adjogbe’s experience in party administration and political engagement positioned him to lead the movement’s activities across Delta State.
“Dr. Adjogbe is a grassroots politician with a strong commitment to the development of his people and the advancement of Delta State. I am confident that his experience and leadership qualities will help strengthen the movement’s presence across the state,” Darah said.
Adjogbe, who currently serves as Executive Assistant (Political) to the Delta State Governor, has held several political positions in Ughelli North and other areas, gaining experience in party administration and grassroots political mobilisation.
Darah expressed optimism that Adjogbe would draw on his political background to build a network of committed supporters and voter mobilisers across the state.
He said the new PMT chairman was expected to assemble a team capable of engaging communities and mobilising support for President Bola Tinubu’s re-election bid and other candidates of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
According to Darah, effective grassroots engagement, sustained political communication and the coordination of committed supporters would be important to the movement’s mobilisation efforts.
He also described Adjogbe as a brother and leader whose background in information technology, coupled with his humility, generosity, selflessness and proactive approach to responsibilities, distinguished him among his contemporaries.
“His record of service reflects a willingness to take responsibility and work towards results. I believe he will bring these qualities to bear on his new assignment and deliver on the expectations of the movement’s leadership,” he said.
Darah further expressed confidence that Adjogbe would justify the confidence reposed in him by the national leadership of the Peoples’ Movement for Tinubu, citing his determination to achieve positive results in both public and private engagements.
He urged supporters of the movement to work with the new state chairman to advance its objectives, particularly its plans to strengthen grassroots participation and political mobilisation across Delta State.
The Peoples’ Movement for Tinubu is a political pressure group campaigning for the re-election of President Tinubu.
