Senator Ede Dafinone of Delta Central Senatorial District has celebrated two prominent figures in Delta State, paying glowing tributes to the Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Emomotimi Guwor, on his 47th birthday, and to Chief Brodericks Uvie Arigbodi, the Olokun of Agbon Kingdom, as he marked his 60th anniversary.
In separate goodwill messages dated April 1, 2026, the senator lauded both men for their contributions to governance, development, and community advancement.
Felicitating with Speaker Guwor, Dafinone described his birthday as an opportunity to celebrate a life of service, purposeful leadership, and sustained contributions to the growth and stability of Delta State.
He commended the Speaker’s stewardship of the Assembly, noting that under his leadership, the House has maintained unity, discipline, and fidelity to its constitutional mandate.
The senator also highlighted Guwor’s role in fostering strong collaboration with the executive arm of government, particularly in alignment with the MORE Agenda, which he said has enhanced governance, accelerated development, and broadened the delivery of democratic dividends across the state.
“Your leadership has helped sustain an environment conducive to progress, reinforcing the collective aspiration for a more prosperous and united Delta State,” Dafinone stated, while wishing the Speaker continued good health, wisdom, and greater accomplishments.
Turning to Chief Arigbodi, Dafinone described the revered monarch and industrialist as an accomplished entrepreneur and philanthropist whose influence continues to shape lives and communities positively.
He praised Arigbodi’s contributions to the oil and gas sector and his commitment to human capital development, particularly through the Arigbodi Foundation, which he noted has empowered youths, uplifted communities, and driven meaningful social transformation.
