Delta Central Youths Urge Senator Ede Dafinone to Seek Re-election in 2027

Senator Ede Dafinone

The ancient saying “a prophet is without honour in his own home.” Senator Ede Dafinone, has powerfully rewritten that narrative.

In a bold and unequivocal move, the Sapele LGA Executive has publicly declared its endorsement of Senator Ede Dafinone for a second term! not under pressure, not out of sentiment, but out of conviction.

That endorsement is a statement of confidence from those who know him best. Sapele is home. Home sees character unfiltered. Home understands consistency. Home knows whether representation is visible or distant. When your own political base rises to say “we want more of this leadership”, it speaks volumes.

This endorsement signals some salient and powerful truths: Firstly, Senator Ede Dafinone’s Performance has silenced doubt. Second-term endorsements from a leader’s immediate political family rarely come cheaply. They are earned through accessibility, responsiveness, and measurable impact.

Secondly, Trust has replaced trial. The first term is usually a season of testing. The second term is a reward for delivery. Sapele’s declaration shows that the testing season has produced trust.

Moreso, Capacity has defeated sentiment. The LGA executives understand that continuity strengthens bargaining power at the national level. If the prophet is honoured at home, then the message is clear: the mandate is not weakening — it is consolidating.

Now, the moment calls for strategic alignment. Other LGAs across Delta Central must not hesitate. Political momentum is not something to observe from a distance; all stakeholders must be seen to be actively involved. When one stronghold takes a principled stand early, it creates stability within the party structure and clarity among the electorate.

Party faithfuls across the senatorial district should read the handwriting on the wall: Unity strengthens negotiation power in Abuja. Early endorsement prevents internal fractures.

Delta Central cannot afford political experiments at a time when federal leverage, economic advocacy, and legislative ranking matter more than ever. Politics in Delta Central is evolving. It is no longer about noise, the Sapele declaration is not just local politics; it is a strategic signal. It says that leadership must be sustained where it has been proven. Continuity amplifies influence.

The call is clear and urgent: Let other LGAs follow immediately.

Let ward leaders consolidate the structure. Let party stakeholders move from quiet agreement to public commitment.

When a leader is honoured at home, the road to victory becomes organised, focused, and achievable. Delta Central’s future is best secured through unity, stability, and decisive action — and the time to act is now.
