Senator Ede Dafinone, who represents Delta Central Senatorial District in the National Assembly, has extended warm birthday felicitations to renowned scholar, statesman and former Minister of Information, Professor Sam Ejite Oyovbaire, celebrating his outstanding contributions to Nigeria’s democratic development, public administration and the advancement of Delta State.
In a goodwill message to mark the occasion, Dafinone described Professor Oyovbaire as an accomplished intellectual and patriot whose lifelong commitment to scholarship, principled leadership and nation-building has earned him enduring respect across the country.

Dafinone noted that the celebrant’s distinguished career in academia and public service has left a lasting imprint on Nigeria’s democratic evolution and political development.
“Your life’s work has been defined by intellectual excellence, principled leadership and unwavering commitment to nation-building. The Delta Central lawmaker also commended Professor Oyovbaire’s commitment to the development of Delta State and the Okpe Kingdom, describing him as a respected voice of wisdom and moderation.
