Delta Central Senator, Ede Dafinone, has extended warm felicitations to Delta State Deputy Governor, Sir Monday Onyeme, on the occasion of his 61st birthday anniversary, describing the milestone as a testament to a life devoted to public service, integrity, and commitment to the development of Delta State.
In a goodwill message on Monday, Dafinone praised Onyeme’s leadership qualities, noting that his humility, diligence, and sense of duty have continued to earn him widespread respect across the state and beyond.
The senator commended the working relationship between the Deputy Governor and Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, saying it has significantly contributed to the stability and policy direction of the state administration.
According to him, “Your exemplary teamwork with His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, has been instrumental in driving the successes recorded under the MORE Agenda.”
He added that the collaboration has strengthened governance and improved service delivery across key sectors.
Dafinone further highlighted Onyeme’s leadership style, describing it as calm, effective, and results-oriented.
He noted that the Deputy Governor’s administrative competence has helped reinforce public confidence in the current administration.
He stated that Onyeme’s loyalty and ability to complement leadership with wisdom and tact remain valuable assets to the state, adding that “your calm disposition, administrative competence, and loyalty to the collective vision of this administration have contributed significantly to the stability and progress of Delta State.”
On behalf of his family and constituents in Delta Central Senatorial District, Dafinone prayed for continued strength and divine guidance for the Deputy Governor, wishing him many more years of impactful service to Delta State and Nigeria.
He concluded by praying that God grants Onyeme “continued good health, wisdom, and strength to serve our state and nation with even greater distinction in the years ahead.”
