A clergyman with the St John’s Anglican Church, Okpara Inland in Ethiope East Local Government Area of Delta State, Rev Efe Urhogo, has died while ministering on the altar.
The news of the death of the young Anglican cleric NewsNet Nigeria gathered has been posted on the social media by some of his colleagues.
Oasis Magazine also reported that the priest slumped while ministering on the pulpit on Wednesday evening during the Anglican Youth Week programme.
He was subsequently rushed to the Eku Baptist Government Hospital, Eku, where he was confirmed dead.
Meanwhile, his remains have been deposited at the morgue.
The deceased was a native of Urhuoka-Abraka in Ethiope East Local Government Area of Delta State.
His father NewsNet Nigeria understands is a retired Anglican cleric since 2017.
