A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Delta State, Sir Fidelis Adjogbe, has taken this year’s Christmas celebration to his Ward in Evwreni Kingdom of Ughelli North Local Government Area, where he doled out Christmas gifts of cash and bags of rice to party faithful and indigenes of the kingdom.

Speaking at the Evwreni PDP secretariat situated on Evwreni-Patani East-West Road, Sir Adjogbe, who is the State Financial Secretary of PDP, emphasized the need for an outpouring of love, especially in gifts to one another, particularly to the less privileged ones, in commemoration of the birth of Jesus Christ.

He urged the people to remain law-abiding and to be of good conduct during and after the yuletide.

“Jesus Christ is the reason for the season. Let us genuinely celebrate His birth by demonstrating love to one another.

“Let us use the season to reflect on our collective aspirations as Evwreni people and chart a common course for the overall good of the kingdom.

He prayed and thanked the Delta First Lady, Chief Mrs (Dcns) Tobore Oborevwori, for all that she has been doing for the Evwreni people.

Responding, the party Ward Vice Chairman, Pastor John Aki, thanked Sir Rtn. Fidelis Adjogbe, and prayed God Almighty to always protect him.
