Bayelsa Queens win WAFU B club championship

Nigerian Women Football League champions, Bayelsa Queens, have emerged winners of the West Africa Football Union, WAFU B zonal qualifier for the final stage of the 2022 CAF Women’s Champions League.

The team won a 3 nil bashing of Ghanaian champions, Ampem Ladies In a one-sided final played in Abidjan, Cothdevoire.

Three first-half goals from Miracle Joseph, Flourish Sebastine, and Chinyere Igbomalu ensured that the Prosperity Girls emerged champions of the WAFU B Women’s Champions League.

The victory of the Yenogoa-based team sees them advance to the Group stage of the 2022 CAF Women’s Champions League.
