Former Executive Director of Projects at the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Engr. Samuel Adjogbe, has congratulated President Bola Tinubu, Delta State Governor, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori and Senator Ede Dafinone on their emergence as candidates of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the 2027 general elections.
Adjogbe, a prominent APC chieftain in Delta State, described their victories in the party’s primary elections as a reflection of the confidence and trust reposed in them by party members across the country and the state.
In a statement on Saturday, Adjogbe commended APC members for the peaceful conduct of the primaries and urged party faithful to remain united as preparations gather momentum for the 2027 general elections.
Congratulating President Tinubu on securing the APC presidential ticket, Adjogbe said the outcome of the primary election underscored the confidence party members have in the President’s leadership and vision for the country.
“I warmly congratulate President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on his successful emergence as the presidential candidate of our great party. The overwhelming support he received is a testament to the confidence party members have in his leadership, vision and commitment to Nigeria’s continued progress,” Adjogbe stated.
The former NDDC Executive Director also felicitated Governor Oborevwori on his emergence as the APC governorship candidate in Delta State, describing the development as a reward for purposeful leadership and impactful governance.
According to him, the governor’s administration has continued to implement policies and projects aimed at improving infrastructure, expanding economic opportunities and enhancing the welfare of Deltans.
“Governor Sheriff Oborevwori has, within a relatively short period, demonstrated remarkable commitment to infrastructure development, economic growth and the welfare of Deltans. His emergence as our governorship candidate reflects the trust and appreciation of party members for his inclusive leadership and people-oriented governance,” he said.
Adjogbe equally congratulated Senator Ede Dafinone on emerging as the APC candidate for Delta Central Senatorial District, noting that the lawmaker has distinguished himself through effective representation and constructive legislative contributions.
“Senator Ede Dafinone has distinguished himself through quality representation, constructive legislative engagement and consistent interaction with the people of Delta Central. His victory at the primary election is well deserved, and I am confident that he will continue to provide effective representation and contribute meaningfully to national development,” Adjogbe added.
He noted that the successful conduct of the primaries had further strengthened the APC and positioned the party for victory in the forthcoming general elections.
Calling for unity among party members, Adjogbe urged APC leaders and supporters across the country to close ranks and work collectively towards achieving success at the polls.
“The primary elections have come and gone, and now is the time for reconciliation, unity and mobilisation. We must close ranks, strengthen our structures at the grassroots and support our candidates at all levels to ensure victory for the APC in 2027,” he said.
Expressing optimism about the party’s prospects, Adjogbe maintained that the APC remains well positioned to consolidate on its achievements at both the national and state levels.
“With President Tinubu, Governor Oborevwori and Senator Dafinone as standard-bearers, I am confident that our party is well-positioned to consolidate on existing achievements and secure overwhelming support from Nigerians and Deltans alike,” he stated.
Adjogbe wished the candidates success in the forthcoming campaigns and reaffirmed his commitment to working with other stakeholders to strengthen the APC and advance the party’s objectives ahead of the 2027 general elections.
