Woman selling AK47 ammunition arrested in Delta

A 34-year-old woman who deals in illegal sales of AK47 ammunition has been arrested in Delta State.

The suspect, Queen Uwagbogu was apprehended on Thursday, May 18, 2023, by operatives of the Crack Squad of the Delta State Police Command.

The spokesperson for the Command, DSP Bright Edafe in a statement on Sunday said the woman was arrested when the Crack Squad raided her premises located close to Effurun Roundabout in Uvwie Local Government Area of Delta State.

According to police image-maker, 100 rounds of 7.62mm live ammunition were recovered from her.
