Wilson Brume Ejeben Foundation based in Delta State has donated educational materials to teachers and learners of Uhurie Primary School, Iwhrekreka and Ekrejegbe communities, Ughievwen Kingdom in Ughelli South Local Government Area of the state.

The gesture by the Wilson Brume Ejeben Foundation was to encourage the pursuit of quality education in rural communities in furtherance of its humanitarian services as a non-governmental organization.

It was all dancing and celebration for the teachers and learners of Uhurie Primary School, Iwhrekreka and Ekrejegbe Communities as they received surprised the donation of educational materials from the foundation.

It was the first time in the almost seventy years of the school’s existence that the teachers and learners benefitted from the magnanimity of a non-governmental organization.

Presenting the materials, the Chief Executive Officer of the Foundation, Double Chief Wilson Ejeben, who was represented by the coordinator for Ughievwen Kingdom, Olorogun Freeborn Ayoma, revealed that the gesture was part of his desire that every school child does not stay back at home because of lack of education materials.

Double Chief Ejeben promised the teachers and learners of Uhurie Primary School that the Foundation would support in boosting quality of education.

Receiving the educational materials, the head teacher of Uhurie Primary School, Iwhrekreka and Ekrejegbe Communities, Mrs Rebecca Avwioroko expressed gratitude to the Wilson Brume Ejeben Foundation for the donation.

Like Oliver Twist, Mrs Avwioroko appealed to the Foundation to assist in providing furniture and mono pump for the school.

The President General of Iwhrekreka Community, Mr James Onovughe and Chairman of Parents/Teachers Association of the school, Pastor Thompson Dominic also poured encomiums on Double Chief Wilson Brume Ejeben for his kindness.

It would be recalled that recently, the Wilson Brume Ejeben Foundation distributed to educational materials to public schools in Udu, Ughelli South and North Local Government Areas in Delta State as well as public schools in Ondo State.
