An apostle of the Celestial Church of God, headquarters, Okoloba Parish, Effurun, Uvwie Local Government Area of Delta State, Robert Okwoefe Agagbo, has passed on.

Late Apostle Robert Okwoefe Agagbo, the father of Comrade Andrew Agagbo, a chairmanship aspirant for Uvwie Local Government Council, died on Thursday, December 14, 2023.

It was indeed a black Thursday for Andrew Agagbo and his siblings because their father was so dear to them and they were very fond of him as well.

Andrew Agagbo, a one-time Publicity Secretary of the Youth Wing of Urhobo Progress Union (UPU) some months ago joined the chairmanship race for Uvwie Local Government ahead of the conduct of the local government elections in 2024 by the Delta State Independent Electoral Commission (DSIEC).

His father Late Apostle Robert Okwoefe Agagbo, was born in 1956 into the family of Ikporo-Okwoefe of Ekpan and Atele Omaromuaye of Ajomata family in Jeddo.

Until his death, he was the chairman of Ikporo-Okwoefe’s extended and immediate family in Uvwie Local Government Area.

He worked with Delta Steel Company and later left for Daewoo Nigeria Limited where he retired

Late Apostle Robert Okwoefe Agagbo was a devoted Christian and he is survived by his wife, children, grandchildren, brothers, and sisters.
